The Zone - Volume 20

As we start to prepare for the upcoming months, it is time to think about our focus from now until the end of the year. An important event occurring during at this time is the re-opening of our community’s schools. Realizing that only some of our readers will be directly impacted by the school’s opening, we all have a stake in how this process progresses. As the uncertainty of what the coming months will look like continues, we may be experiencing feelings of frustration, excitement, sadness and wondering what we can do to ensure that we are prepared. With all new beginnings, success can be measured in different ways. This mix of emotions can either propel us to get ready for whatever lies ahead or hold us back. Now is a great time to reaffirm our commitment to our work, our family and to our community. Clarifying our motivation to assist our communities with school openings, and why this is important will enhance your experience and performance.

Quote of the Week

“There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.”

~ Margaret J. Wheatley

We may not be able to control everything that happens to us during the Fall; however, we have great control of how we prepare for the unknown and how we work together to make our communities stronger.
